Terry started racing a Jalopy at Pinecrest in 1957. Before that he raced a twin engine go kart. He always raced Fords. His number was 64 for about 15 years and then he decided to retire. However, he couldn't stay away and six months later bought car number 92 and ended up racing for another 4 or 5 years. In 1972 he was awarded most consistent driver and in 76 he won the best appearing car. During his racing career he was presented with a roll over trophy a couple of times. He says it is the last trophy you want to win. |
