When Brian was young his dad used to take him to races at Delaware and Nilestown. Brian started racing in 1965. He raced late models at Delaware Speedway. Brian took a couple of years off from racing, and during that time was the track manager at Delaware Speedway. He joined the hobbies in 1981 and later was the vice president of the club. In 1983 he had a heart attack, in his race car during the twin 25's. This ended his career. He sold his hobby car and everything that went with it to Don Shaw. In 1987 he became involved with the club again as a committee member in 1988 and in 1989 was the club president. |
