When Tom was young he and his friends used to race their cars on the street. He didn't get caught doing it but somebody saw him which resulted in his dad telling him to go to a track if he wanted to race. The following year(in the early 70's) Tom bought himself a hobby car. Tom's best racing year was when he finished in the top five in both Gold Cup and Flamboro Points. Tom eventually gave up racing and became involved in the administrative side of the club, as the treasurer, handicapper and also on the tech committee. |
