Bill Podd has always been an outstanding member of this club, and his inductance in to the Hobby Hall of Fame was much deserved in 2005. Bill has served on the club’s committee numerous times, and today is most well known for his meticulous work on his “Podd Boxes” a switch panel you will find in many of the drivers cockpits. Bill currently serves as Crew Chief for his son Mike, who drives the #5 1934 Ford Coupe. Bill has continued to contribute to the club yearly with one of his special switch panels being drawn at the yearly banquet, with the funds going towards the Childrens Christmas Party.
